ANYONE can reach crisis point
If you or someone you know is struggling to pay the bills and feed yourself and your family, our Foodbank may be able to help!
Shepway Foodbank is open to who anyone lives in Shepway (Folkestone and Hythe District), and it doesn’t make any difference whether you are working, on a pension or receiving benefits, we can provide emergency food during crisis situations such as redundancy, benefit delays or receiving an unexpected bill.
As well as over 50 organisations across the district issuing our Foodbank vouchers to those who need them, we have recently opened our own Voucher Issuing Centre in Hythe. If you are in the Hythe area and need our support, our centre is open EVERY FRIDAY 10:30am – 12noon at St. Michael’s Church, Chapel Street, Hythe.
No appointment is necessary, you can just pop in to speak to one of our team. You will need to bring evidence of your address and the reason for needing assistance, e.g. benefits delay letter.
Alternatively, if you would like to speak to someone first then please call 07913 573403.
If you work at a shop, doctors, cafe or other organisation in Hythe and would like a poster to display, please contact the Foodbank Manager on the number above.
