How we can help you
We know that a crisis can strike anyone and we also understand how difficult it can be to ask for help. We are part of a nationwide network of Foodbanks, supported by The Trussell Trust, working to combat poverty and hunger across the UK.
We don’t think anyone in our community should have to face going hungry. That’s why we provide three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to people from the Folkestone & Hythe District who are referred to us in crisis.
Anyone can reach crisis point. We’re here to help – click below to find out how.
How you can help us
The Shepway Foodbank is run by local people for local people – we rely on the community’s support to ensure we can continue to stop people from going hungry.
Over 90% of the food we distribute is donated by the public – that’s why your food donations are absolutely vital to our ability to give everyone referred to us a balanced and nutritious three-day supply of food.
Can you invest in the future of our community and help us provide much-needed support to people in crisis in our community?

“The volunteers were fantastic, offering a chat and a shoulder to cry on. I suffer from depression as well and without the Foodbank I don’t think I would be here today.”Richard
“The emotional support was almost as good as the food. It was just such a relief to finally speak to someone who cared and genuinely wanted to help. They gave us hope.”Suzanne
