Folkestone Rainbow Centre
Wishes to appoint an
Activities and Support Groups Coordinator

£25,000 p/a, pro-rata on a fixed-term contract until March 2029
21 hrs p/w (including occasional evening/weekend work)

We are a vibrant and passionate Christian charity serving our community in the Folkestone and Hythe District. Our services include Homeless Support, Pantry, Shepway Foodbank, FoodStop and Family Contact.

As part of our Homeless Support Service, our new supported housing at Hamlet House will work with and empower homeless clients on their housing journey, and the postholder will be part of this support.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, creative, and highly organised person to join our Homeless Support team, planning and ensuring delivery of varied programme of engaging and meaningful activities for clients, to maximise support opportunities, whilst providing a safe and welcoming space.  Activities will include move-on support and life skills to optimise successful outcomes whilst honouring their dignity and respect, and encouraging safe social inclusion. 

If you are passionate about working with vulnerable people, helping them achieve a positive change, and have the skills to build community and coordinate meaningful activities, we would love to hear from you!

15 hrs p/w (including occasional evening/weekend work)

We are a vibrant and passionate Christian charity serving our community in the Folkestone and Hythe District. Our services include Homeless Support, Pantry, Shepway Foodbank, FoodStop and Family Contact.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, creative, and highly organised person to join our Homeless Support team to develop a befriending service that optimises successful outcomes while honouring clients’ dignity and respect, and encouraging safe social inclusion. 

If you are passionate about supporting vulnerable people and helping them achieve positive change, and have the skills to build a community of volunteer befrienders and coordinate the befriending service, we would love to hear from you!
